300M Citizens’ Challenge is India’s first and unique model to enhance the joy of learning towards learning outcomes for children through broad-based open-collaborative partnerships.

300M Partnerships are designed to engage, enable and empower like-minded partners and last-mile delivery agents with child-centric rich content with a 33-years proven pedagogy. The brick-and-click model is built around a world-class technology platform available to all alliance partners, facilitators, and children. The partner ecosystem consists of diverse member organizations operating in the education domain. They include large foundations, non-governmental organizations, shelter homes, community radio stations, youth-based organizations, and community self-help groups for women’s empowerment, to name a few.

The 300M Learning Portal [learn.katha.org] is India’s first and the world’s only multi-language Active Story-Based Learning [ASBL] platform. The feature-rich child-friendly platform gamifies the concept of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) concerning SDG 3 (Quality Education), SDG 4 (Gender Equality), and SDG 13 (Climate Action) for Early Learners – especially from underprivileged backgrounds.

learn.katha.org is an omnichannel platform providing universal access via web and mobile devices. The multilingual content covers reading, storytelling, and activity-led gamification. It tackles the Big Ideas like “Special Abilities,” “The Girl Child,” “Flexible Gender Roles,” “The Environment,” and “Indigenous cultures” through storytelling and games. The interactive and immersive digital experience promotes “reading for fun and meaning” among first-generational English and seven* other major Indian languages. In addition, with the Google Chrome translation extension, most of the content is available in 104* international languages.

The 300M Partnership team catalyses the alliance by enrolling, engaging, and empowering new partners. In addition, the 300M team further equips them with tools and new ideas like StoryPedgogy(TM) to augment reading abilities in children.

“The 300M Citizens’ Challenge empowers the grassroots facilitator with child-centric content and a pedagogical approach that unleashes the infinite potential in the child. Each tiny seat on that little bench in the remote classroom represents the microcosm of the millions of centres of learning;
